The team is seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join their AI & ML (Data Collection) team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing AI-powered solutions that extract structured information from various sources, including reports and news articles. You will leverage your expertise in data analysis, machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and generative AI to enhance the quality, coverage, and timeliness of data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end data science initiatives, from problem definition to model deployment.
- Conduct data exploration and define success metrics for projects.
- Develop and implement machine learning models to extract insights from unstructured data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions into existing workflows.
- Continuously evaluate and improve models based on performance metrics.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in data analysis and machine learning techniques.
- Proficiency in natural language processing (NLP) and generative AI.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R.
- Experience with data visualization tools and frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in data science or a related field.
