The team is seeking a Data Platform Engineer L1 to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of innovative data solutions that support pricing strategies for the retail market. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines and architectures.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to support data-driven decision-making.
- Monitor and optimize data platform performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot data-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Assist in the development of data governance and compliance standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems.
- Familiarity with data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark or Hadoop.
- Understanding of cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
