About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Data Modeler to support enterprise data warehouse modernization and cloud migration initiatives. This role will focus on designing, developing, and implementing logical and physical data models within a Snowflake environment, ensuring scalable, high-performance, and business-oriented solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop data models that meet business requirements and enhance data accessibility.
- Implement and manage data modeling best practices in Snowflake.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and translate them into effective data models.
- Optimize existing data models for performance and scalability.
- Conduct data analysis and validation to ensure data integrity and quality.
- Assist in the migration of on-premises data warehouses to cloud-based solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in data modeling, particularly with Snowflake.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with SAP HANA.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
- Ability to work in a hybrid work environment and manage overlapping shifts with UK/US teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 10-15 years of relevant experience in data modeling and data architecture.
