About this role
As a Data Governance Architect at the team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the enterprise data governance strategy. This position involves developing and maintaining enterprise-wide data governance strategies, standards, and policies, while ensuring alignment with business goals such as regulatory compliance and analytics readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data governance frameworks and operating models.
- Define and communicate roles and responsibilities within the governance structure.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure adherence to data governance policies.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of data governance initiatives.
- Provide guidance on best practices for data management and protection.
- Facilitate training and awareness programs related to data governance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data governance, data management, or a related area.
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to data (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in data governance or data management roles.
