The team is seeking a Data Governance Analyst with expertise in MS Purview to join their growing data function. This is a critical role that will contribute to making the organization’s data findable, traceable, and trustworthy. The successful candidate will work closely with various business units to enhance the data governance capability, focusing on the business glossary, data catalogue in Microsoft Purview, data lineage, and establishing a robust data quality framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and maintenance of the business glossary and data catalogue in Microsoft Purview.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data lineage is accurately documented and maintained.
- Implement and monitor data quality frameworks to identify and resolve data issues proactively.
- Assist in the creation of policies and procedures related to data governance and compliance.
- Provide training and support to staff on data governance best practices and tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Management, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in data governance or data management roles.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Purview and its functionalities.
- Familiarity with data quality metrics and frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
