About this role
The team is seeking an independent, senior-level Data Engineer with a strong background in database design. The primary focus of this role will be to design and implement database structures across various platforms, with a significant emphasis on Microsoft Dataverse and its integration with Azure Databricks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop database solutions using Microsoft Dataverse.
- Integrate and optimize data workflows between Microsoft Dataverse and Azure Databricks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes.
- Monitor and maintain database performance, implementing improvements as necessary.
- Document database designs, processes, and procedures for future reference.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in database design and management, specifically with Microsoft Dataverse.
- Strong proficiency in Azure Databricks and data engineering principles.
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL, Python, or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
Experience Required:
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in data engineering and database design.
