The team is seeking a Data Engineer Sr. Advisor to join their team in Chennai, Tamil Nādu. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who is innovative and passionate about data engineering and architecture. The successful candidate will lead the design and implementation of incentive compensation management (ICM) and sales performance management (SPM) solutions using Varicent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and architecture of data solutions using Varicent.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implement best practices for data management and governance.
- Optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with a focus on Varicent solutions.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation languages.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and big data technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience required: 8-10 years in data engineering or related fields.
