About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join their NextGen team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and other Azure services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data pipelines that ensure efficient data flow and processing.
- Build and manage data lake and data warehouse solutions, including Azure Data Lake and Synapse Analytics.
- Optimize data storage, retrieval, and performance across both structured and unstructured data sources.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business users to enable self-service BI and advanced analytics.
- Implement data governance and security measures to protect sensitive information.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and other Azure services.
- Proficiency in building data lakes and data warehouses.
- Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data modeling.
- Familiarity with SQL and other data querying languages.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
