About this role
Our client is seeking a Data Engineer Lead for a 6-month remote contract position. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and modernizing enterprise data pipelines while leading technical initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust data pipelines to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Lead a team of data engineers to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Modernize legacy data pipelines to enhance performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Utilize Databricks and dbt for data transformation and management.
- Write efficient code in Python and SQL to manipulate and analyze data.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with Databricks and dbt.
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in team management.
- Familiarity with legacy data pipeline modernization techniques.
- Experience in the healthcare domain is preferred but not mandatory.
- Immediate joiners are preferred, with a rigid background verification process in place.
Experience:
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in data engineering and team leadership.
