The team is seeking a Data Engineer Lead to join their dynamic team. This role involves leading data engineering initiatives to support digital transformation projects for various clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, data modeling, and ETL processes, as well as proficiency in modern data technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable data pipelines and architectures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for performance and efficiency.
- Mentor and guide junior data engineers in best practices and methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and data warehousing solutions.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or Java.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in data engineering or related fields, with a proven track record of leading data projects.
