The team is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join their team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines and architectures, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with various data teams to meet their data needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, construct, install, and maintain large-scale processing systems and data pipelines.
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and provide necessary data solutions.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for performance and scalability.
- Implement data governance and security measures to protect sensitive information.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Scala and Python development.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with database technologies like SQL, NoSQL, and data modeling techniques.
- Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka is a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years working in data engineering roles.
