About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing SQL-based ETL processes, stored procedures, and data transformations across DB2 and SQL Server environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL-based ETL processes and stored procedures.
- Support and monitor approximately 225 scheduled jobs and 40 job streams using IBM Workload Scheduler, ensuring timely execution and prompt failure resolution.
- Build and maintain data pipelines using IBM DataStage and UNIX scripting for enterprise data integration workflows.
- Support Oracle GoldenGate for real-time data replication and change data capture.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with SQL, DB2, and SQL Server.
- Proficiency in IBM DataStage and UNIX scripting.
- Familiarity with IBM Workload Scheduler and Oracle GoldenGate.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in data engineering or a similar role.
