The team is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SQL, dbt, Airflow, and BigQuery, particularly in the context of public investments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines using SQL, dbt, Airflow, and BigQuery.
- Develop dbt models and transformations to ensure reliable and reusable data processing.
- Build and manage Airflow DAGs for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and workflow orchestration.
- Create complex SQL queries and optimize data processing for enhanced BigQuery performance.
- Design and maintain data models and data warehouse solutions on BigQuery.
- Implement data quality checks, validation, and reconciliation processes to ensure data integrity.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with dbt for data transformation.
- Hands-on experience with Airflow for workflow orchestration.
- In-depth knowledge of BigQuery and its optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with data modeling concepts and data warehouse architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in data engineering or a similar role.
