The team is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines that support the analytics and reporting needs of the organization. You will work closely with data scientists and analysts to ensure that data is accessible and usable for decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust data pipelines for data ingestion and processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for performance and scalability.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through validation and monitoring.
- Participate in the architecture and design of data systems and frameworks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar.
- Experience with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark or Apache Kafka.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for data storage and processing.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Java.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
