The team is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to contribute to the development and maintenance of their data infrastructure. In this role, you will leverage your proficiency in AWS Big Data Services, strong programming skills, and expertise in data modeling and warehousing to build robust and scalable data solutions. A solid understanding of DevOps practices for continuous integration and continuous deployment is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data engineering and ETL processes.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements.
- Implement data models and structures that support business needs.
- Optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability.
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data infrastructure issues.
- Document processes and maintain data engineering standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in AWS Big Data Services (e.g., Redshift, EMR, Glue).
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or Java.
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and ETL tools.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of SQL and database management systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in data engineering or a related field.
