About this role
The team is seeking a highly experienced Data Engineer to work on enterprise-scale data integration and cloud data platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on expertise in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), cloud databases (preferably Google BigQuery), and data warehousing concepts. This role requires the ability to function both as an individual contributor and as a technical lead based on project needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement data integration solutions using IICS.
- Manage and optimize cloud databases, particularly Google BigQuery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
- Lead technical discussions and provide guidance to junior team members.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and cloud technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience with data warehousing concepts and practices.
- Strong knowledge of ETL processes and tools, especially IICS.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with cloud databases.
- Familiarity with data modeling and data architecture principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
Experience: 6-8 years in data engineering or related fields.
