Data Analytics Engineer | Bangalore, IN

The team is seeking a skilled Data Analytics Engineer to join their Financial Systems team in Bangalore. This role is pivotal in transforming the finance department's operations through advanced reporting solutions and data integration using SAP HANA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the BI environment in collaboration with finance stakeholders.
• Oversee the ongoing development and maintenance of the SAP HANA reporting platform.
• Manage data loading, system monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Engage with users to gather requirements and enhance application, logical, and technical data architectures.
• Implement changes and train key users on the system functionalities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of expertise in the IT industry.
• Proficient with SAP data products, including SAP S/4, SAP HANA XSA development, and security concepts.
• Experience with Snowflake data modeling and dimensional modeling or Data Vault.
• Strong SQL skills, including Stored Procedures and Functions.
• Familiarity with descriptor file formats like YAML and orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow is a plus.
• Knowledge of Git concepts and CI/CD pipelines is essential.
• Understanding of agile development processes (SCRUM or Kanban) and experience with Jira is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
