The team is seeking a skilled Data Analyst specializing in Transport Management Information Systems (MIS) and Data Analytics. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing transport data to support policy research and implementation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret complex transport data to generate actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain Transport MIS to track performance metrics and support decision-making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data needs and ensure data integrity.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings to internal teams and external partners.
- Utilize statistical tools and data visualization techniques to enhance data presentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with programming languages like Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex data insights clearly.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in data analysis, preferably in the transport or public policy sector.
