The team is seeking a Data Analyst who is passionate about big data and analytics to provide valuable insights into the business. The primary focus will be on analyzing data related to NatGasHub.com and the Energy Industry in the U.S. and Canada. This role requires direct interaction with clients from both countries, making it essential to have a solid understanding of industry trends and data analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and analyze day-to-day business issues that can be addressed through data insights.
- Coordinate with team members to complete data analysis tasks efficiently.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used in analyses.
- Create reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and interpretation.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and statistical software (e.g., R, Python).
- Familiarity with SQL for database querying and data manipulation.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the energy sector, particularly natural gas, is a plus.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in data analysis or a related field.
