About this role
The team is seeking a Cybersecurity – SOC Lead (AI & Automation) to join their team in Chennai. This role will focus on leading the offshore Security Operations Center (SOC) execution for clients, combining operational leadership with a strong emphasis on detection governance, case quality oversight, and the practical application of automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the offshore SOC, ensuring high-quality performance and adherence to security protocols.
- Oversee detection governance processes to enhance threat detection capabilities.
- Ensure case quality oversight to maintain the integrity and effectiveness of incident response.
- Drive the integration and optimization of AI and automation features within the CLW security stack.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide training and mentorship to SOC team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on SOC operations and management.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, incident response, and threat detection methodologies.
- Experience with AI and automation tools in a cybersecurity context.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.
