About this role
As a Cyber Threat Intelligence Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting cyber threats to protect our organization's information assets. You will play a crucial role in safeguarding the organization against potential risks and vulnerabilities through comprehensive data analysis and threat intelligence gathering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze threat intelligence data from various sources to identify potential cyber threats.
- Monitor and assess the organization's security posture and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement effective security measures.
- Develop and maintain threat intelligence reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
- Conduct threat assessments and vulnerability analysis to inform risk management strategies.
- Stay updated on the latest cyber threat trends and attack methodologies.
- Provide training and awareness programs for staff on cyber threat awareness.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in threat intelligence analysis or cybersecurity roles.
- Strong understanding of cyber threat landscapes and attack vectors.
- Proficiency in using threat intelligence platforms and security tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex information clearly.
- Relevant certifications such as CEH, CISSP, or GIAC are a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in cybersecurity or threat intelligence roles.
