The team is seeking a skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting the organization’s information systems and networks from cyber threats. You will work closely with various departments to ensure compliance with security policies and to implement security measures that safeguard sensitive data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement security protocols, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and respond to security incidents.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure system configurations and updates.
- Stay current with emerging threats and cybersecurity trends.
- Provide training and support to staff on security best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus software).
- Proficiency in network security protocols and standards.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
