About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Core DBA with expertise in GoldenGate to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting GoldenGate on Oracle RAC within a Unix environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure GoldenGate for Oracle RAC.
- Troubleshoot and support GoldenGate installations and configurations.
- Configure GoldenGate MAA setup for optimal performance.
- Manage ongoing replication of large Oracle databases in complex architectures.
- Set up downstream mining and integrated components for active-active replication.
- Configure GoldenGate adapters and connectors to enhance data flow.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience with GoldenGate in a Unix environment.
- Strong understanding of Oracle RAC and database replication techniques.
- Familiarity with complex database architectures and performance optimization.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in database administration and GoldenGate management.
