The team is seeking a Compute Platform Ops Lead to oversee and enhance their Kubernetes-based infrastructure. This role is essential for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our compute platforms, which support critical financial data and analytics services for investment professionals worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the operations and management of Kubernetes clusters to ensure high availability and performance.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Go to streamline deployment and monitoring processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust infrastructure solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Linux systems and container orchestration.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration technologies.
- Proficiency in Linux system administration and scripting languages, particularly Python and Go.
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and experience working in a collaborative team environment.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in compute platform operations or a similar role.
