About this role
The team is seeking a CoE Lead - CyberSecurity to spearhead their Cyber Security Center of Excellence. This leadership role is crucial in providing strategic direction, governance, and thought leadership across various domains including security architecture, operations, risk, and compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and managing the CoE as a central hub for security expertise and standards, while fostering a robust security culture and enhancing cyber resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the vision and strategy for the Cyber Security CoE.
- Oversee the operations of the CoE, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide governance and leadership in security architecture and compliance initiatives.
- Drive the development of security standards and best practices across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture and risk management.
- Promote a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement within the organization.
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of security initiatives and resilience improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within cybersecurity, preferably in a CoE environment.
- Strong knowledge of security architecture, operations, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or similar) are highly desirable.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on leadership and strategic roles.
