About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Cloud Ops Systems Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure, focusing on technologies such as Terraform, Kubernetes, GitOps/ArgoCD, CI/CD, GitLab, and Ansible. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment and delivery of applications while maintaining the highest standards of reliability, security, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create cloud infrastructure using Terraform to automate deployment processes.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters and ensure optimal performance and security.
- Implement GitOps practices with ArgoCD to streamline application delivery.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to enhance deployment efficiency.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure for performance, reliability, and security compliance.
- Document processes and create runbooks for operational procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with GitOps methodologies and tools like ArgoCD.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools, particularly GitLab.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience required: 5-8 years in cloud engineering or related fields.
