About this role
The team is seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer to join their Cloud Operations team. In this role, you will help run reliable, secure, scalable, and cost-efficient production platforms across a multi-cloud, multi-region, geo-distributed environment. This position is hands-on, focusing heavily on cloud networking and operational support for SaaS services and infrastructure that must remain highly available and performant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure across multiple platforms.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and product teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud networking and infrastructure.
- Develop and enforce best practices for cloud security and compliance.
- Participate in capacity planning and performance tuning activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in cloud networking concepts and technologies.
- Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in cloud operations or a related field.
