About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Specialist in IT Infrastructure to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, upgrading, and continuously improving the site's operating environment. Your primary focus will be to ensure the ongoing reliability, performance, and security of the infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain the operating environments to ensure optimal performance.
- Respond to incidents and problems, providing timely resolutions.
- Plan for growth and deployment of new technologies in the infrastructure.
- Design, install, configure, and maintain PC/server operating systems and networks.
- Perform testing and troubleshooting of systems to ensure reliability and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement infrastructure improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Extensive experience with IT infrastructure management and operations.
- Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux) and network management.
- Strong understanding of security protocols and best practices.
- Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud services (AWS, Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in IT infrastructure roles, with a focus on operational reliability and security.
