About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to implement scalable, highly available, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in migrating existing on-premises workloads to the cloud and implementing security and compliance controls in the environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS or Azure.
- Migrate on-premises workloads to cloud environments.
- Implement security and compliance controls to protect cloud resources.
- Monitor and optimize resource usage to ensure cost efficiency.
- Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration management using IaC practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in AWS or Azure.
- Collaborate with development teams to support their cloud-based applications and services.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in cloud engineering or related fields.
