About this role
The team is seeking a Cloud Backend Engineer with expertise in Azure to join their expanding cloud engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems and building clean, scalable backends. You will collaborate closely with a strong, experienced team of senior engineers across multiple countries including the US, India, Ecuador, and Mexico.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based backend systems in Azure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement architectural solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide architectural guidance as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Azure cloud services and architecture.
- Proficiency in backend programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools, specifically Claude Code Copilot.
- Experience in building scalable and maintainable applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in cloud engineering and backend development.
