About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Chrome Extension Developer to merge job application autofill functionality into an existing resume extension. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing Chrome extensions and a deep understanding of job application processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integrate existing autofill code into the current Chrome extension.
- Ensure that the resume and cover letter features remain functional.
- Develop a user profile feature for saving personal information, education, work experience, skills, and more.
- Implement automatic detection of job application forms and autofill various fields.
- Maintain support for existing ATS integrations such as Greenhouse, Lever, and Workday.
- Allow users to review their autofilled information before submission.
- Ensure the architecture is clean and scalable for future ATS platform additions.
- Remove unnecessary dependencies on other platforms to ensure the extension operates as a standalone product.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Chrome Extensions and Manifest V3.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Strong skills in DOM manipulation and form autofill techniques.
- Familiarity with React, Vue, or similar frontend frameworks.
- Experience with ATS platforms like Greenhouse, Lever, and Workday.
- Knowledge of file/resume uploads and Chrome storage.
- Experience with API integrations.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years in software development, with a focus on Chrome extensions and web applications.
