About this role
The team is a growing healthcare company focused on transforming care for neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, speech and language delays, sensory processing disorders, learning disorders, and behavioral challenges. They are seeking a Child Development Specialist to join their dedicated team.
In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and developing individualized treatment plans for children with various developmental challenges. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate children's developmental needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with clinical specialists to ensure a coordinated care model
- Provide guidance and support to families regarding developmental milestones
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Stay updated on best practices and new research in child development
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Child Development, Psychology, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience working with children with developmental disorders
- Strong understanding of neurodevelopmental conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
