About this role
The team is seeking a Java Developer with strong Category Management (CatMan) domain exposure who can design and deliver custom solutions on top of CatMan/PIM platforms. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across functional and technical layers to build tailored extensions that meet specific business needs. Immediate availability is preferred for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and customize Category Management (CatMan) / PIM modules using Java.
- Work closely with business/functional teams to gather customization requirements.
- Develop custom workflows, extensions, and integrations within the CatMan platform.
- Debug and optimize existing customizations for performance and stability.
- Support UAT, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization activities.
- Document technical designs and customization specifications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of Java development experience with proven customization work on Category Management / PIM platforms.
- Strong understanding of Category Management business processes (assortment, planogram, pricing, promotions).
- Experience with Java, Spring, REST APIs, and relational databases.
- Ability to work directly with business stakeholders to translate needs into technical solutions.
Preferred / Good to Have:
- Experience with retail or CPG domain projects.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks for CatMan UI customization.
