About this role
The team is seeking a skilled and motivated Cable Systems & Power Systems Engineer to support UK grid infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in high voltage (HV) cable systems and power-system engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform HV cable system design and analysis.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of cable systems.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of power systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in HV cable systems and power-system engineering.
- Proficiency in power system analysis software and tools.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
