About this role
The team is seeking a mid-to-senior Build & Release Engineer to take ownership of the software delivery process from committed code to production and app store. This role encompasses both our SaaS web platform and native mobile applications for iOS and Android.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate the software release process.
- Develop and manage branching strategies and artifact management systems.
- Oversee release processes to ensure engineering teams can ship code frequently and safely.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve release workflows and minimize disruptions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot build and release issues, providing timely resolutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or similar.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus.
- Understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 5-8 years in a Build & Release Engineering role or similar.
