About this role
The team is seeking a BigID Consultant / Data Privacy & Discovery Specialist to support enterprise clients in implementing and operationalizing BigID across modern cloud ecosystems, including Azure and Databricks Unity Catalog. This role demands a strong expertise in sensitive data discovery, classification, and privacy automation, along with a comprehensive understanding of regulatory compliance and data governance best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and configure BigID to scan and classify sensitive data across various platforms.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their data privacy needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct training sessions for client teams on data privacy and BigID functionalities.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of data privacy initiatives and recommend improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with BigID and data privacy tools.
- Proficient in cloud platforms, particularly Azure and Databricks.
- Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years in data privacy, data governance, or related fields, with a focus on BigID implementation.
