The team is seeking a Big Data Engineer to join their Data Engineering Platform Group. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and ownership of data engineering projects within the Enterprise Data Analytics division. Your expertise will be crucial in managing the entire data engineering lifecycle and collaborating with various stakeholders on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable data architectures and pipelines.
- Implement data processing solutions using big data technologies.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements.
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the engineering process.
- Optimize data workflows and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
- Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with database systems, both SQL and NoSQL.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
