About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Backend Software Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the backend infrastructure that supports a robust data gateway for social platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and data flow from various sources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
- Implement security and data protection measures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, Node.js, or Java.
- Experience with database technologies like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQL.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in backend development and software engineering.
