The team is seeking a skilled Backend Engineer with expertise in Rust to join their innovative team. As a key player in the development of their Monetisation Engine for AI-native products, you will be responsible for building and maintaining robust backend systems that facilitate global payment processing and billing automation for SaaS and digital businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize backend services using Rust to support payment processing and billing automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement scalable solutions.
- Ensure system reliability, performance, and security in handling sensitive financial data.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner to maintain operational efficiency.
- Contribute to code reviews and maintain high coding standards within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in backend development with a strong focus on Rust.
- Familiarity with payment processing systems and billing automation.
- Experience with database management and optimization.
- Knowledge of API development and integration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in backend engineering, preferably in fintech or SaaS environments.
