The team is seeking a skilled Backend Engineer with expertise in Node.js to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side applications that power their digital products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure high performance.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Node.js and related frameworks (e.g., Express.js).
- Experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
- Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of professional experience in backend development.
