About this role
As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the server-side logic, database architecture, and APIs that power our products. You will collaborate closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-performance systems that meet the needs of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend systems and services to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and reliability.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing and code reviews.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve backend solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
- Experience with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with RESTful API design and implementation.
- Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in backend development.
