About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust backend architecture and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Maintain and improve existing codebases, ensuring code quality and performance.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Experience with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of professional experience in backend development.
