About this role
The team is seeking a Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems. This role focuses on server-side programming, API development, microservices, database management, and cloud technologies. The engineer will collaborate with frontend developers, architects, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders to deliver robust enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement backend services and APIs.
- Develop microservices architecture for scalable applications.
- Manage and optimize database systems for performance and reliability.
- Work with cloud technologies to deploy and maintain applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine application requirements.
- Ensure code quality through testing and code reviews.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in server-side programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Experience with API development and microservices architecture.
- Strong knowledge of database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of security best practices in backend development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Experience: 5-7 years in backend development or related fields.
