About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Backend Developer with expertise in PHP and Laravel to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will take ownership of backend features for a live marketplace, ensuring the reliability and correctness of critical functionalities such as listings, orders, payments, and payouts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend features using Laravel and PHP.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Manage database interactions using MySQL and ensure data integrity.
- Implement and maintain integrations with various payment systems and third-party services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to backend performance and functionality.
- Work with queues and scheduled jobs to handle asynchronous tasks efficiently.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in PHP and Laravel framework.
- Strong experience with MySQL databases.
- Familiarity with AWS or DigitalOcean for deployment.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as Blade, jQuery, or Vue.js is a plus.
- Solid understanding of software development best practices and design patterns.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in backend development.
