About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Backend Developer with a strong foundation in Python and Django to join their dynamic team. This role involves developing and maintaining their innovative AI-powered Insurance Distribution Operating System, Fuse-OS, which integrates various processes within the insurance ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend components of Fuse-OS using Python and Django.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Implement data storage solutions and ensure data security and integrity.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to enhance performance.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in Python and Django framework.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with database management systems such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of professional experience in backend development, preferably in a full-stack capacity.
