About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Backend Developer with Full Stack capabilities, specializing in Python and Django. This role involves working on Fuse-OS, an innovative AI-powered Insurance Distribution Operating System that integrates various processes within the insurance ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend services using Python and Django.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Design and implement APIs for seamless data exchange between systems.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure high performance and responsiveness.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Python and experience with Django framework.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Understanding of database management systems, preferably PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of cloud services and deployment strategies is a plus.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in backend development, preferably in a full stack role.
