About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Backend Data Developer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development and data engineering, with hands-on experience in Databricks, PySpark, Python or Java, Web Services, and SQL. This role involves designing and troubleshooting data-driven solutions to support Dealer Services (Data Edge).
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with architects, technical leads, business analysts, and operations teams to understand system architecture and requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend solutions for data processing and analytics.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing data solutions to improve performance and reliability.
- Implement data pipelines and workflows using Databricks and PySpark.
- Ensure data integrity and security throughout the development lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Databricks, PySpark, Python or Java, Web Services, and SQL.
- Strong understanding of backend development principles and data engineering best practices.
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and database management.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in backend development and data engineering.
