About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Back End Developer with a strong focus on Golang to join their dynamic team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining robust backend services and ensuring seamless data migration processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build the migration harness, including shadow traffic, response diffing, metric parity dashboards, and feature-flagged rollout.
- Own the schema-to-schema migration processes, including mapping, backfill, dual-write, and reconciliation.
- Conduct consistency verification and document cutover and rollback points.
- Develop Go services, including HTTP APIs using frameworks such as Gin, Echo, and Fiber.
- Implement background workers and stream consumers to enhance application performance.
- Utilize Go concurrency to optimize service operations and ensure efficient resource management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in Golang with a solid understanding of Go concurrency patterns.
- Experience with building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with database management and migration strategies.
- Knowledge of frameworks like Gin, Echo, or Fiber.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in backend development, specifically with Golang.
