About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Back End Developer with extensive experience in the analysis, architecture, design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade internet and intranet applications. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building secure, scalable, and high-performance web-based systems, and will be responsible for leading complex portal and integration projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement backend solutions for portal and web applications.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Lead the development of secure and scalable backend systems.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Java and related frameworks.
- Experience with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Understanding of security best practices in web development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in backend development.
