About this role
The team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join their team and be a key contributor to building and deploying innovative solutions on Node.JS within a microservices architecture. You will be instrumental in establishing and maintaining strong engineering practices, ensuring high-quality code, and leading the development of connectors and workflows for customer deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.JS.
- Implement microservices architecture to enhance scalability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the highest quality of code through code reviews and testing practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner to maintain system performance.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to their professional growth.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in Node.JS and experience with microservices architecture.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Familiarity with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or similar.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of professional experience in backend development, with a focus on Node.JS.
